Alexander Larsen
Alexander Larsen is the Chair of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) Energy Special Interest Group and holds a degree in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University.
He is the founder of Risk Guide and is the host on their show “Risk Managers Getting Coffee”.
With over 20 years of experience across a variety of industries he has considerable expertise in all things Risk. He has held positions in UK, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Iraq. In October 2016, he was awarded Risk Manager of the Year for Middle East & Africa by a panel of risk expert.
Alexander has contributed to a number of books including contributing chapters and case studies to “Risk Maturity Models”, “Implementing Enterprise Risk Management: Case Studies and Best Practices”, “The Cyber Risk Handbook” and most recently, “Conceptualising Risk Assessment and Management across the Public Sector: From Theory to Practice”
